AecorLink’s microwave shore to ship connection granted new patent

Swedish Internet service provider AecorLink has announced that the company has been granted a new patent on its short sea communication platform. The patented technology will further enhance the capacity for shore-ship communication via microwave links. The salient advantage with the patent allows the networks to further improve the capability providing high-speed and stable data connections.

The AecorLink system has been designed for providing reliable internet connections to ferries and other vessels which operate short sea services. The system comprises of shore stations that allow equipped vessels to benefit from fast broadband links for the ship’s purposes and also for passengers and crew onboard ferries and cruise vessels.
